Kristen Abbott (Founding Member)
Kristen is in her fourth year of studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary). She has studied Italian at a tertiary level and is particularly interested in language learning and culture in the primary environment. Kristen also coordinates a Breakfast Club at a local high school and she is passionate to see equality for all students and every opportunity for success in the education system.
 


Will Kent (Founding Member)
Will is in the fourth year of his Bachelor of Education (Primary) degree. He is particularly interested in the 21st century classroom and looking at ways technology can be harnessed in primary education. Interests beyond the classroom include music, photography and travel. Will hopes to teach abroad in the future, not only to benefit communities in need, but also to greatly strengthen and develop his teaching practice.

 
  
Matthew Knight (Founding Member)
Matt is in his fourth year of a Bachelor of Education (Primary) degree. As well as working as a private tutor in English and Maths, Matt volunteers as an instructor at a local youth theatre and as a leader at a children's summer holiday program. He has a particular interest in teaching in rural areas and is passionate about teaching as a profession. Matt wants future teachers to have every opportunity to discuss and share their knowledge, as he believes everyone has different interests and strengths.


 
Aaron Osborne (Contributing Author)
Aaron is currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and a Diploma in Community Service Work. He works part time as a Program Coordinator and Training Facilitator for an Outside of School Hours Care organisation. His interests spread from music, to podcasting and ensuring Australian school environments are an inclusive and diverse place for learning, and for that learning to be interesting and engaging for the teachers and students.


Adelle Scott (Founding Member)
Adelle is currently studying 4th year Bachelor of Education primary. She has completed an international student exchange at the State University of New York (SUNY) where she studied languages and Special Education. Adelle has a keen interest in special education, student engagement and the way teachers can accommodate for diversity in classroom situations. She is striving to become a better teacher herself and hopes to aid other pre service teachers or graduates in developing skills necessary for effective teaching.
 

 
Nicholas Verity (Founding Member)
Nick is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Education (Primary) degree and is in his fourth year of study. Whilst being at university he works part time in a primary school as an integration aide where he collaborates with teachers to ensure students with disability are included within the learning space. Nick has a particular interest in special needs education as well as education in the 21st century and believes inclusion of all students within the learning space is vital for effective teaching.

 
 
Alexander Wignall (Founding Member)
Alex is currently in his fourth year of a Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education. He works part time in after-school care and volunteers a couple of hours a week at his local primary school. His main interest is in helping pre-service teachers take steps to become the most effective teachers possible, and ultimately changing the way our tertiary system trains teachers.
